La Plata Public Library operates on tax dollars from the City, donations and Memorial Donations. To donate to the Library, you may opt to click the Donate Button, Drop off a payment in a drop box or mail to the Library.
We accept donations in memory of your loved one. Notices are sent to the family notifying them of the donation received in their loved ones memory.
The Library also has a book bargain room where there are used books and DVDs available for a donation.
Mission Statement
The mission of the La Plata Public Library is to promote literacy and provide access to services and informational resources to all library patrons.
